X-men: Loading battle protocols WIP

I started to draw this one and half year ago. This is supposed to go on my wall as a poster when I finally finish it -that's why it's so huge. I even had to make it smaller for DA I'm still coloring this when I have time.

Here are 8 of my favourite X-men - Storm, Rogue, Nightcrawler, X-23, Psylocke, Polaris, Wolverine and Gambit - fighting one of my favourite enemies - a sentinel. I wanted to draw the rest of my favourite characters here, too, but there are just too many of them.

All of the characters are wearing their best looking outfits from all the time they have been X-men. Storm is wearing her mohawk look from the 1980s because I loved her and her looks the most at that time. Rogue -my all-time favourite superheroine - is wearing an outfit she's seen for example in the X-men #93 when taking on Sunfire. I just love those heels.

Nightcrawler didn't have as many cool outfits as I would have liked him to but I guess this is the best he had. It was either this or [link] When I first saw X-23 in Uncanny X-Men #450 and in this outfit I totally fell in love with the character. At that time she was at her best and looking her best, too. Psylocke has had some awesome outfits and it was difficult for me to pick my favourite. But actually I like her Lady Mandarin looks even better than this briefly shown outfit in the same storyline.

I had trouble deciding who should be the 8th character in this picture but I chose Polaris for her ability to "fly". She also has some great outfits but I like the one she wears right after the M-day the best. Wolverine is wearing his yellow-brown outfit because I really like those boots. And Gambit is wearing his long-time outfit from his first appearance because it's so pink! Sentinel is one of the Mark VIII generations if I remember right!
